A few years ago I started a painting of Red Campions, I only had the snail to paint but I could not bring myself to finish it. I often found the painting lying about but I didn't like it enough to finish it. Seeing all the Red Campions around the road verges I was inspired to try afresh and this time I love my painting. What a difference a few years makes!
