A few years ago I was at a Country Living show & two different passers by commented on how my work was a bit "Twee". I was not sure what it meant but I knew it was not a compliment. So when I got home I looked it up, it means "So sweet its sickly". I was really hurt, you can have loads of good comments but you always remember the insults more. Well my latest painting is very twee. My village of Escomb is not one of the most prettiest but with my talents I have made it Twee enough to grace any Chocolate box. If only they still printed them with pretty pictures I'd be rich. Oh well there's always Jigsaws!
