1. Lilies & Roses

   Bouquet of flowers have been like buses for me, not one in sight all year then 3 bouquets at once. Two were for our 20th Wedding Anniversary, twenty years of officially being Jenny Bell, (I did start using the name for the business a while before I was married). The third bouquet was a thank you present. They inspired me to paint some new ceramic designs & this water colour & pastel painting of Lilies & Roses. I don't know if they will sell on a mug but customers have been asking us for sympathy cards lately.

   

   

   

   

   

2. Christmas at the Zoo

   This was inspired by some drawings I did for Kids mug ideas & then it morphed into a Christmas design. But just before I added the tinsel & the baubles I took a photo of the artwork & it works well as a design for all year round too. Just need to remember to add a Joey in the empty pouch!

   

   

   

    

   

    

   

3. Christmas Rosebuds

   I struggled with this painting as you can see from the first drawings the painting has ended up very different. I wanted to paint the dogs with the stove but I could not seem to fit it all in to look right when printed onto a mug. I just need something to bring the design together & I was about to give up when I remembered some photos of a puppy called Rosebud which had been posted by a friend on Facebook. Perfect!
